Dr. Ezirike Ladipo was born in Dallas, TX but grew up in New England. As one of six children, her family developed a close relationship with their pediatrician, which piqued her interest in pediatrics.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ with a BA in Biology, graduating cum laude with Honors College distinction. During medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine, she found herself drawn to the inner workings of the gastrointestinal system. Her interest in pediatric gastroenterology was solidified during her pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she also served as Chief Resident. She completed pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.

Before joining Kids GI Kare Dr. Ezirike Ladipo worked in Northern Virginia as a pediatric gastroenterologist with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic GI disorders, though she finds fulfillment in helping patients and families navigate the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two daughters, and her close-knit extended family. She enjoys various genres of music, the art of dance, traveling, and exploring different cuisines.
